Customer credit is assigned to an identified customer with an authorized limit. Returnable-container deposits are separate from sales so returning a deposit does not distort revenue.

No. Customer credit records a debt. A recorded payment reduces that debt and increases collections. Returnable-container deposits are tracked separately too.
Can I sell by weight?
The weighted retail profile supports fractional quantities with explicit units. The quantity and price accepted by the customer must match the final sale; changes require a reviewed total.
